SimuLab

Using the simulab we want to encourage talented students, who are interested in natural sciences and in using the computer.

The simulab consists of one room with 12 connected computer workplaces and one smartboard.

Simulation of neurobiological tries

We lead students into the research themes of ceasar, we show them lab techniques and the principles of mathematical modelling and simulations. In the experimental courses, the students will experience scientific work in a biochemstry lab.

Interested students are personally guided and encouraged over several years via the constantly developing course program.

Molecule Dynamics: Alzheimer-Amyloid-ß-Peptid

We offer the following offers:

Simulation courses

We offer for each individual student biology, physical, mathematical and neuroscientific simulationcourses. Which are lead by Stefan Hartmann and last 1-2 afternoons. The course includes lectures, and work for the students on the computer. A maximum of 12 students can take part in this course.

Experimental course

We offer for each individual student an experimental course in the labratory, which are lead by Mrs. Bücker and Stefan Hartmann, and last 1 day. A maximum of 8 students can take part in this course.

Simulation of artifical neural connection

The courses are for students above the 9th grade, some of the courses are focused for high scool students. Interested students can register here for the course.

Structure mechanics simulation with femlab: weight on a crane

For whole classes to come for high school courses is not possible. Instead we want to individually encourage small groups of talented students. We ask teachers, to suggest to appropriate students to visit the Simulab.
