Marcelo Cintra joined the research center caesar as leader of the new scientific computing group after working both in academia and in industry in the area of high-performance computing.
From 2011 to 2020, he was a technical lead in the datacenter division of Intel Corp. and from 2001 to 2011 he was a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Edinburgh.
Dr. Cintra has a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, IL, USA.
