caesar is a neurosciences research institute associated with the Max Planck Society and is located in Bonn. The main focus of its interdisciplinary research is on cellular signal processing and the neural foundations of behavior. The scientists at caesar want to understand the neuronal mechanisms on which behavior is based. Their research ranges from the investigation of single-cell organisms through to one of the key questions of neurobiology: How do patterns of neuronal activities give rise to complex yet goal-directed behavior?
The newly installed Max Planck Research Group “Neurobiology of Magnetoreception”, headed by Dr E. Pascal Malkemper, is currently looking for a
laboratory technician (m/f/d)
(full time at 38,5 hours/week)
to join in January 1st 2020. The position will initially be for 2 years with the possibility for extension.
caesar is committed to diversity and inclusion and is aiming to increase the percentage of women in areas where they are under-represented. We therefore explicitly encourage women to apply.
Handicapped persons with comparable qualifications receive preferential status. In addition, the Research Center strives for gender equality and diversity. We welcome applications from any background.
