Mia is a trained biochemist and received her PhD in developmental biology from the King’s College London. She has worked as a scientist at the Max Planck Instiute of Biophysics in Frankfurt and the EMBL in Heidelberg, before fully dedicated her career to science communication and public engagement.
She has worked in science communication for over 6 years in the UK and Germany on various outreach projects, linked to many different research fields.
With her experience and knowledge in the field of science communication, she will provide excellent engagement with teachers and pupils as well as the general public.
We are looking forward to learning about new outreach projects and programmes in the near future!
