How a rat sees the world - Video on caesar research published

Last year, caesar’s research was portrayed by a camera team sent from the central administration of the Max Planck Society. Focusing on our responsible treatment of animals in science, the video highlighted a system developed by director Jason Kerr, the OVS, or “ocular videography system”. This miniature eye tracker enables researchers to examine eye and head positions with small animals, while they behave naturally. The OVS has been a core element of many experiments here at caesar.
